The Illinois Environmental Health Association (IEHA) is a state-wide, not-for-profit organization of professionals formed in 1950. Membership consists of administrators, environmental health practitioners, sanitarians and technicians employed by governmental agencies, education and health care institutions, and industry.

Our aim is to promote the highest degree of skill, efficiency and professional competence among sanitarians and others practicing in the various environmental health disciplines through the mutual exchange of knowledge and experience.
